Hestra invests in golf and riding

Glove maker Hestra is growing strongly within spring, summer and fall activities. This will be especially clear in spring 2013 when the company launches two completely new categories: Golf and Horse. ”Customers within these areas place high value on both quality and function,” says Claes Magnusson, who owns Hestra together with his brother Svante Magnusson.

Rollerskiing, cycling, climbing, running, hiking, canoeing, golf and now even riding. It would be wrong to say that Hestra are only concerned with winter sports. From spring 2013, the categories expand even more for the summer season. ”Within golf we now have two different models, one of which is available in five different color combinations. Within riding, we are launching four different models,” says Claes.

Several of the golfing gloves have the new Ergo-Grip construction, which is also found in Hestra’s ski gloves from this winter. This is a patented technology that involves extra pre-bent fingers, minimal excess material and seams placed according to the fingers’ natural creases. Within the riding glove collection there are flexible competition gloves, classic deerskin gloves and waterproof models for tough fall and winter days. The new categories will be available in store in spring 2013
